Thermal Product Solutions Acquires Tiros Corp.

WATERTOWN, WI - August 17, 2004 - SPX Thermal Product Solutions (TPS) announced today that it has acquired Tiros Corporation of Tempe, Arizona. Tiros is a leader in the design and manufacture of automated thermal curing systems for the electronics and semiconductor industries.

"We are excited about the addition of Tiros to the TPS team. The Tiros product line and technology will complement existing products and will expand our international presence.
