Afterburner
It is becoming more and more important to control all types of industrial
process emissions. The Lindberg process emissions afterburner helps
you comply to ever tightening environmental regulations by oxidizing
volatile organic compounds and process fumes normally released into
the atmosphere.
The system is completely self-contained, pre-piped and wired with a
removable control panel that can be mounted separately to make it easy
to operate the afterburner from a remote location (especially practical
when the unit is located on top of a furnace or other elevated area.)
Excess air operation provides the most effective combustion of the process
emissions. Adjustable air injector further enhances combustion efficiencies.
The percentages of emissives that are oxidized will vary with the process
performed in your furnace.
The control panel is a wall-mounted type with flame relay, excess temperature
cutoff, lights and timer. Multiple settings allow operation from 600
to 2000°F. An interlock is provided to prevent process startup until
the afterburner is operational.
Lindberg can help you evaluate your needs for reducing process emissions
whether it’s providing an afterburner for your existing system
or supplying an afterburner with a new Lindberg furnace.
