SPX Thermal Product Solutions, a division of SPX Corporation, designs and manufactures industrial ovens, environmental simulation test chambers, heat treating ovens, non-ferrous melting furnaces, and equipment. The SPX family of brands includes Tenney, Blue M, Gruenberg, Lindberg, MPH, and Kayex.

The Tenney product brand offers one of the most comprehensive lines of environmental test chambers and rooms in the industry. The line includes custom and standard environmental rooms, shock and vibration chambers, and environmental test chambers.

The Blue M product brand is recognized in the industry as a leader in the design, manufacture and support of industrial ovens, inline curing ovens, light industrial furnaces, custom industrial ovens, and ASTM test ovens. These industrial ovens accommodate a wide range of applications and configurations to meet virtually any thermal processing requirement.

The Gruenberg product brand is recognized as a leader in the manufacture of industrial ovens including class 100 sterilizers, continuous process explosion-proof dryers, isolators and barrier systems, and a variety of thermal process systems for biotech, medical devices, and diagnostic products.

The Lindberg product brand has a long-standing reputation as a single-source supplier for the heat treating industry, including design, manufacture, and service. There are more than 75,000 Lindberg industrial furnace installations worldwide.

The MPH product brand, providing one of the world's largest lines of non-ferrous melting furnaces, offers complete product engineering and manufacturing services to handle any non-ferrous molten metal handling request with speed and efficiency.

The Kayex product brand is the leading producer of silicon and germanium crystal growing equipment for the solar and semiconductor industries, and specializing in the design, manufacture, and support of both monocrystalline and polycrystalline crystal growing furnaces and are the exclusive supplier to the world's leading photovoltaic wafer companies.

1971: Kayex brand name established
1987: First 200mm CZ puller sold 2000: Tiros develops next generation of vertical curing oven, Ultima 2007: Kayex KX120PV Introduced
1973: First Hamco Crystal Grower 1992: Enter into license agreement to manufacture Tenney products 2001: Purchased by SPX as part of their United Dominion acquisition 2008: Kayex KX150PV Introduced; Kayex ships 20 growers/month
1979: Harold Lunick purchases Gruenberg Oven 1995: Tiros founded in USA and first vertical curing oven developed 2002: Blue M manufacturing moved to Williamsport from Watertown, WI 2012: TPS, Kayex, and Lindberg/MPH rebrand company to SPX Thermal Product Solutions
1980: Kayex purchased by General Signal 1996: Acquired by United Dominion Industries 2003: Changed Group Name to Thermal Product Solutions (TPS).
